The sweet smell of the holiday season is upon us. Play your part by making a gingerbread house and entering it in the library’s 9th annual Gingerbread House Contest.

PORTER | Children six years old and older are invited to decorate gingerbread houses at Westchester Public Library’s Porter Branch. Sessions will be offered at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Drop-off for the Gingerbread House contest, which is part of the Gingerbread Festival, will be at the Robbins Hunter Museum Friday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m
