Gingerbread single-parent charity in Longton gets grant – BBC News

A charity that offers shelter and support to single parents in Stoke-on-Trent has been awarded a lottery grant of £304,215. The Gingerbread Centre will use the money to fund two full-time posts for a five-year project to increase single-parents’ self esteem.
